The photo below (posted with permission) is a screen shot of a photo that her daughter had posted on Instagram.
This isn't some image I grabbed online or from a friend of a friend.
An anonymous account created by (we assume) another student to post nasty and hateful messages on the photos of their classmates.
In this case, that nasty and hateful message was aimed at a 12 year old girl – and was likely posted by another child close to the same age. In 2013 a woman posted after being horrified at the “beauty pageants” she witnessed on her daughter's Insta.

Yet until now, staying in touch or consuming a specific user’s content was tough.
This includes using means such as online chat rooms, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to contact the minor.
Maybe “Carson’s Law”, named after Johnny Carson, the king of chit-chat on late night TV. The content discovery site where 150 million monthly users upvote the best memes, GIFs, science tricks, and sob stories today launched chat and following features.

Yesterday afternoon a friend of mine posted something on Facebook that I found disturbing as a parent.
However, your words can get you in trouble online, especially if they are directed to minors. It’s safe to say that if you’re an adult, you should never chat with minors online. It is Illegal to Use the Internet to Arranging a Meeting with a Minor for Sexual Purposes.
Under California Penal Code Section 288.4, it is illegal to arrange a meeting with a minor or a person you believe to be under the age of 18 for the purpose of lewd and lascivious sexual conduct.
